Short version: we do not set cookies, we do not track you, and we do not sell data.
No cookies
whenesport.com does not set any cookies. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no session cookies. Your browser's timezone detection uses the JavaScript Intl API, which runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to our servers.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes your request headers (including your IP address) as part of their CDN and security infrastructure. This is standard for any Cloudflare-hosted site. We do not log or store IP addresses ourselves.
Timezone detection
All timezone conversion happens in your browser using the Intl.DateTimeFormat API. Your timezone is never sent to our servers. The site works identically whether you are in Tokyo, London, or Buenos Aires because the conversion is client-side.
Calendar subscriptions
When you subscribe to a calendar feed (e.g. /follow/cricket-2026.ics), your calendar application fetches the ICS file periodically. We see this as a standard HTTP request in Cloudflare's edge logs (which we do not access). The calendar file is a static file served from Cloudflare's CDN.
Affiliate links
This site contains affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link (including "Watch Live" links in calendar events), you are redirected through a tracking domain operated by the affiliate partner. That redirect may set cookies on the partner's domain. We have no control over what those third parties collect. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

What we do not collect
- No email addresses (we have no signup, no newsletter)
- No personal information
- No device fingerprinting
- No cross-site tracking
- No cookies of any kind
- No analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, nothing)

GDPR
Because we do not collect personal data, do not set cookies, and do not use tracking scripts, the GDPR's requirements for consent mechanisms (cookie banners, opt-in flows) do not apply to this site. If we add analytics or advertising services in the future, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
